Influence of extremely low frequency magnetic field on recuperation

Keywords:

Summary:

The aim of this research is the evaluation of influence of magnetotherapy and magnetostimulation on human’s body directly after submaximal physical effort.Background.

Material and methods. The research was carried over the group of 40 students, that do not actively train any sport. The students were making a physical effort on a cyklometer three times. After every effort the restitution time was defined by moment when pulse returned to preefort measures. Students were always lying in their resting time. Firstly it was a passive type of rest; secondly rest supported by magnetostimulation (Viofor JPS) and thirdly supported by magnetotherapy (legs in MAGNETRONIC MF10). Parameters of applied magnetic fields were from the group of medical doses.

Results. Results of the research have shown that statistically the restitution time supported by magnetostimulation as well as magnetotherapy became significantly shorter.
