Magnetic fields in the conservative treatment of pain in multiple adhesions – case description

Summary:
Intra-abdominal adhesions related to a previous surgical procedure can significantly influence postoperative pain occurrence. There is still no proper and sufficiently successful method of their treatment and, in some complicated cases, a relaparotomy is required. In the Department of Internal Diseases, Angiology and Physical Medicine in Bytom, the authors take a decision the treatment the incidental case of a 26-year old female patient with pain ailments caused occurrence postoperative multiple adhesions with used variable magnetic fields with good effect.
