The intense development of methods of physical medicine has been noted recently. The new methods are treatment methods, which in many cases allow a reduction of treatment time and positively influence the quality of life of patients undergoing treatment.
LED light therapy with magnetostimulation (magnetoledtherapy) has a vast range of applications in the treatment of neurological, rheumatic and orthopedic illnesses. In some cases it serves as an alternative procedure to pharmacological treatment, in particular to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Physical methods using variable magnetic field and low-energy light show high efficacy in the treatment of various skin diseases, and that is why testing clinical application of simultaneous, synergistic use of both these physical factors in the treatment of dermatological diseases, especially resistant to conventional therapy, seem to be purposeful.
